  • Re: Block text select

I think a 'tip of the day' feature built into PS+ that let me know about things like this would be cool......... "Did you know that if you <action> then <result>"....: kind of thing. The ability to turn off the tips if i didn't want them anymore would be nice also.

  • PowerShell - Finding New User Accounts

SynJunkie has written a PowerShell script that can make managing new user accounts easier to do. The PowerShell script will list all accounts created between two given dates. You can view this script at the following link. http://synjunkie.blogspot.com/2008/11/powershell-finding-new-user-accounts.html

  • Generating Help Text

It would be cool to add features around PowerShell's auto-help tools. With these, you decorate your script and then get-help can read the decorations and produce rich help. The sharper readers may have noticed I'm using this new format to document and present scripts over on http://pshscripts...

  • beta 2.1: position hints in intellisense should probably be zero based.

Hey, The intellisense is great, but I think the positional hints might be confusing. Parameters' positions are 0-based, but the hints are 1-based. In v1, maybe not so confusing because scripters never really are exposed to the truth, but perhaps with v2 and the exposure to users of advanced functions...

  • Re: PowerShell CTP3: Discover the static members

In the latest version of PowerShell Plus (2.1 beta) it's not necessary to hit TAB key and a pop-up menu will show up with all static members, syntax, and links to MSDN page and Google (populated with proper keywords). That's a real time-saver.

  • Re: Command Line Parameters to PowerShellPlus

I was looking for this myself. Particuliarlly the -File parameter. It would make sense that a tool that creates and debugs command line code would itself be able to except parameters and be run from the command line. I was not able to find any documentation on this. If there is some please provide a...
