Hello,

I’m trying to customize the outlook invite message generated when you click the “online meeting” button in outlook

To do that, I use the Set-CsUserAcp command to choose the numbers and pin code I want to appear in the mail.

If I use the “-Url” parameter of the command, the href link to find other numbers is customized too.

The issue is when I click the “Meet now” button in the lync 2010 client. The meeting doesn’t start with the error :

An error occurred during the online meeting. When contacting your support team, reference error ID 400 (source ID 239).

If I look in the server log, I can find this warning :

The error doesn’t occurs If I don’t specify the Url parameter

The error occurs with any url

Do you know what I do wrong or what I forget to configure ?

Hey guys. I don't have an E911 requirement for my Lync deployment, since our local, on-campus police receive 911 calls. They then conference in a PSAP if the call is meritorious for a public safety escort.

However, I still have to get building/room info out of my ethernet switch ports and present it to the on-campus police computer assigned the 911 phone number. The cmdlet in the subject line implies that Microsoft has an "SNMP application url" in mind that they can simply feed a MAC address to in order to query for the switch port. Do you know what Microsoft uses for their SNMP?

Secondly, is there a way to display this "building/room" info grabbed from my switch ports on the 911 computer at our police station?

Creating IVR

We are running Lync 2010 and I am trying to create an IVR Workflow in PowerShell. The reason I have chosen to use PowerShell is because in the UI you can only transfer to a queue. I am wanting to transfer to a URI. The problem I am having is that when I choose the call action of TransferToUri, TransferToPSTN, or TransferToVoicemailUri I get the following error:

New-CsRgsWorkflow : Cannot set the action to "TransferToUri" in this context. Specify one of the following actions and try again : "TransferToQueue, TransferToQuestion".

Hello,

not sure if this is possible, but i can't see why it isn't.... here's the scenario... i get emails from my SCOM server that tell me when a user has "Reached the maximum category subscriptions per publisher limit" and then it tells me the user's SIP address that reached the limit. i then have to go to my powershell and run the command:

Grant-CsPresencePolicy -Identity sip:username@domain.com -PolicyName PopularUsers

is there a way that i can "double click" a .ps1 script, have it open powershell, then ask me "What is the sip address" i then enter username@domain.com and hit enter and it runs the above command inserting the sip address i specified automatically??

Hello. we deployed OCS a couple of years ago. when we did we used our company's domain namespace as the SIP domain (i.e user@companycorp.com) and not the users email address (i.e. user@companycc.com). now that we have deployed Lync and an EDGE server we need to change all users SIP Domain from companycorp.com to companycc.com. we have around 4500 users in the company. here's the issue though..... i cannot do a mass blanket change to everyone, it has to be a controlled change. i know there is a script to change all users SIP Domain at one time but i can't do that. can anyone help me find a script that will look at an excel spreadsheet or text file for a list of users and only change the users in that list??

i am migrating 3000 users from OCS 2007 R1 pool to a new Lync 2010 server pool. if i go into the lync control panel to see how many users i have moved i can only see 200 results. is there a way to see how many users i hvae moved total so far???

I have a script that I am using to migrate legacy users. I got the script from here:

It is designed to import a spreadsheet that I provide and migrate the users in it. When I run it it runs fine and imports the spreadsheet as designed and is successful in moving the users. The issue I have is, during the process it asks if you want to move the user and the choices are Y – yes, A – yes to all, N – no, and L – no to all. If I choose yes it works and moves to the next user and asks again. If I choose A for yes to all it moves the user and instead of moving on and doing the same to all the users it acts like I said yes and asks me again at each and every user. Does anyone there who is familiar with powershell know why the yes to all does not work as it should??

i am very new to powershell and just install Lync 2010 to my domain. i was wondering... is there a way to run powershell from my desktop computer (windows 7 32 bit) and administer my lync server on another machine?? currently i have to remote into my server to run any lync powershell cmdlets
