I experienced this problem already in the latest official release but now also in the beta.

I use the embedded console, when I type a dash (-) in the editor, the cursor sometimes jumps to the embedded console.

When using PowerShell the dash is a rather frequently used character, so this becomes annoying after some time.

Btw I see this behavior on Vista Ultimate Sp2 and on XP Pro Sp3.

I've experienced the same odd behaviour on few WinXP Pro SP3 machines.

Can anyone on this thread give me a concrete repro case, so we can track this down?

The problem happens intermittently.

So I'm afraid I can't give you a repro case.

I've tried to reproduce the steps even before my first post to this thread, but I could not find the right commands. It looks like it's not just one command - it depends on something you've typed before it.
