Test driving Windows 7 RC and PowerShellPlus 3.0 on Virtual PC

Windows 7 RC is out, and finally a bug has been fixed that prevented PowerShellPlus from running.

If you'd like to play with our brand new PowerShell Plus 3.0 on the brand new Windows 7 Release Candidate, here is what you need:

First, get Windows 7 RC. MSDN and TechNet subscribers can download it via their subscriptions. Microsoft announced a publicly available version starting May 5.

Next, if you want to install it in a virtual environment, be sure you have upgraded to VirtualPC 2007 SP1 (6.0.192.0). Older versions of VirtualPC 2007 will present a blue screen once you install the VM additions. You can get VirtualPC 2007 SP1 here:

Have fun!
